Romanov - PAVO Young Horse Champion
August 2004: Romanov became PAVO Young Horse Champion at Bicton heading the £1,000 to the winner class

World Young Horse Championships
Sept 2004: Philip was selected to compete in Lanaken in the six year old section on Romanov and in the five year old section on World's Fair. Despite atrocious weather and ground conditions Romanov qualified for the final.

Successful trip to France
April 2005: Over the past two weekends Philip has been competing at the CSI shows in Barbizon and Auvers in France. Golden Pele competed in six classes and was placed in the top 6 on each occasion, winning a speed class in Barbizon. Romanov competed in his first ever Grand Prix at Barbizon and finished second. In Auvers Romanov competed in the seven year old classes finishing 4th in a Special Two Phase and 5th in the 7 Year Old Grand Prix. Philip also had placings with Powerboy at both shows and with Jloom du Mesnil in Auvers.

AES Stallion Show
April 2005: Philip finished third in the Grand Prix at the AES stallion show at Addington on Romanov, jumping in his second Grand Prix.

World's Fair - Champion at Royal Windsor
May 2005: World's Fair became the Walwyn Novice Champion at Royal Windsor jumping the sole double clear round having qualified for the final in the morning with a second place. He also jumped double clear in the first BEIB six year old qualifier for HOYS.

CSI Le Touquet - Romanov 7 Year Old Champion
May 2005: Philip enjoyed another successful trip to France at CSI Le Touquet. Romanov was the Champion 7 Year Old at the show finishing 1st= on day 1, 5th on day 2 and 2nd in the third day 7 Year Old Grand Prix. Philip was also 9th on Golden Pele in the Speed Derby.

Romanov qualifies for Foxhunter Final
2 July 2005 - Philip and Romanov won the Foxhunter 2nd Round at Bicton thereby qualifying for the Final at HOYS in October.

Philip and Romanov are the Horse & Hound Foxhunter Champions 2005
A fantastic week for Philip at HOYS. Romanov won the prestigious Horse & Hound Foxhunter Championship in a nine horse jump off televised live on Sky Sports. The night before he had finished 5th in the 7 Year Old Championship. World's Fair jumped well in the 6 Year Old Championship. Power Boy reached the second round of the Puissance - which half of the combination was the most nervous is a question which has remained unanswered.

BSJA Showjumper of the Month
Philip has been voted the BSJA Showjumper of the Month for October on the back of his victory in the Horse & Hound Foxhunter Championship at HOYS on Romanov.

Show Update
Three trips to France to Auvers and Hardelot (twice) produced some good placings for Romanov, Power Boy, Worlds Fair and Golden Pele (see results)

SUCCESS IN ZWOLLE
At the CSI Zwolle International Stallion Show, Philip had success with three of his rides. In the Future Stallion category for 6 year olds, Corrato (owned by Donald McTaggart) finished 8th in the Final. In the Promising Stallion category Worlds Fair (owned by Katie O'Brien and Linda Johns) came 2nd in the opening class. In the Best Stallion category Romanov won on day 1, finished 4th in the Grand Prix and 3rd in the Overall Championship standings.

SHOW UPDATE
Philip has been competing abroad successfully in Italy and France over the past couple of months. Romanov finished third in the Grand Prix at CSI Pontedera and has also been fourth in three other CSI Grand Prix this year, Worlds Fair has had some excellent placings at 1.40m, Nenagh has won 1.35m classes in Cervia and Pontedera and Corrato has won and been well placed in young horse classes in Italy.

Philip selected for Nations Cup Debut
June 07 - Philip is one of four members of the new British Evolution Squad to have been selected to compete at CSIO4* Hamina, Finland and CSIO4* Drammen, Norway. Philip will make his Nations Cup debut riding the 2005 Horse & Hound Foxhunter Champion Romanov. Philip has produced the 9 year-old dutch bred chestnut stallion, by Heartbreaker from novice classes and the combination has been placed in the top 4 of four CSI Grand Prix so far in 2007.

First Grand Prix Win for Philip and Romanov
At the CSI 3* in Portimao Philip and Romanov won the Grand Prix. The following week Philip appeared in the portuguese version of Hello magazine!!!

Another Nations Cup Appearance
Philip and Romanov had a late call up to the Nations Cup team in Lisbon. The team finished fifth with Philip the best of the Brits on the day with 5 and 4 faults

Win in Caen
Philip and Romanov won the stallion class at the recent CSI 3* in Caen.

Grand Prix Win at Addington
Philip and Romanov won the Christmas Grand Prix at Addington in an exciting 12 strong "take your own line" jump off. This was a warm up for the team before travelling to the CSI3* in Porto.

First Nations Cup Win in Lisbon
Philip and Romanov jumped clear in the first round to help Team GB win the Nations Cup at Lisbon CSIO5*. The other team members were Tim Gredley on Timo, Charlotte Platt on Lacanda and Robert Whitaker on Lacroix. The team finished on 9 faults ahead of the Dutch on 12.
